On Wednesday, April 5th the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC set the date as a legal deadline for submission of political parties aspirants names submission for gazettement. In a rare occasion, the two big political parties agreed on this law from the IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati and spoke in one voice. Both political parties said that was a good way of notifying their supporters their aspirants and making political parties strong and intact. This comes as one ODM aspirant nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro quits ODM to join Mr. Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC, an affiliate party in the opposition coalition NASA accusing the ODM party officials of mistreatment. Meanwhile IEBC through its corporate communications Manager Andre limo said that all political parties should follow the set-out laws set by IEBC
