Thousands of people popped in and grabbed an ear during the Morden Corn and Apple Festival over the weekend. The free festival celebrated its 50th year in the community, located about 126 kilometres southwest of Winnipeg. Judy Stambuski has been volunteering with the festival for decades and said the growing crowds each year show they are clearly doing something right. We gave away free corn. The festival included markets, entertainment, a parade, dancing, crafts, rides, and a lot of corn.
