Scope 2: These are “indirect” emissions created by the production of the energy that an organisation buys. Scope 3 is the hardest and according to a report by Deloitte usually makes up about 70% of an organisation’s carbon footprint. Since then, there has been a flurry of activity in the industry with China taking the lead by providing affordable, reliable electric vehicles. In doing so, you will have started slaying the dragon that is scope 3 emissions.
