I do not believe Elon Musk is fighting the fight for free speech, as he espouses. Does “absolute free speech,” as he says, encompass hate speech and threats — on an open platform, yet? I believe Elon Musk is well on his way to becoming the most powerful man in America, if not globally, should the Twitter sale be consummated. It matters little to me that Elon Musk will become the new owner of Twitter, for as long as we can leave the platform as we so choose.
