Yet public schools and teachers in our town and all across our state are under fire today. New Hampshire has the sixth-highest ranking in the United States for its public schools, as reported in a WalletHub study published in Forbes magazine. In spite of the high academic results our schools and teachers achieve, New Hampshire teacher salaries are lower than teachers earn in half the other states of the US. These people insist on telling the fable that our public schools are failing, that they are no good. But why would anyone want to tell such untruthful stories about our public schools and dedicated teachers?
