Craig Donohue, chairman and chief executive of the Options Clearing Corp., will step down as CEO after a tumultuous stretch for the company in 2018. OCC’s board accepted Mr. Donohue’s recommendation to promote the firm’s current president and chief operating officer, John Davidson, to the role of chief executive, the company said on Thursday. Mr. Donohue will remain executive chairman.
