Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed has said that the Ministry of Law has made significant progress towards establishing a separate secretariat for the judiciary. The event was jointly organised by the Bangladesh Supreme Court and UNDP Bangladesh, reports bdnews24.com. At the seminar, he said the Supreme Court and the interim government are working closely to implement the judicial reform roadmap successfully. “The interim government has provided sincere support in implementing various aspects of the judicial reform roadmap I announced. Two special committees are also working to launch the Supreme Court Research Institute in Cox’s Bazar as soon as possible.
