A reported "hostage situation" in Oregon on Monday led to a fatal shooting with multiple deaths, according to officials. The Marion County Sheriff's Office said in a news release the incident unfolded at 12:30 p.m. local time at a home in Salem over the possible hostage situation. "As the incident unfolded, shots were fired," the sheriff's office said.
