Nigeria international Bright Osayi-Samuel has emerged as an unexpected transfer target for Turkish giants Galatasaray as the Istanbul club plans for the upcoming season, according to Turkish sports daily Fanatik. He also contributed to Fenerbahce’s Turkish Cup triumph in the 2022/23 season before joining Birmingham City last summer. Osayi-Samuel is not a stranger to transfer speculation within Turkey. The 28-year-old is currently contracted to Birmingham City until June 2028 and has made 22 appearances this season, contributing one assist across 1,242 minutes of action. He is presently on international duty with the Super Eagles in Turkey, featuring in friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
