PUTRAJAYA: Teenage water skier Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah (pic) finally got the better of her nemesis Rossi Amir to win the gold medal in the women's jump event at the SEA Games on Tuesday. She made sure she nailed the gold in her second jump, soaring to a distance of 32.6m. It was her second medal of the day, having bagged silver in the women's slalom behind Singapore's Sasha Christian. Aaliyah also clinched the women's tricks gold in style, scoring a total of 5,880, while Singapore's Sabelle Kee took silver with 3,450. Aaliyah won the women's overall gold medal on Saturday.
