Otumfuo’s visit will highlight some of Ghana’s culture and traditions and as part of his visit, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will meet with government and business officials and visit area attractions in Memphis. Each year, Memphis in May International Festival aims to bring the world to Memphis and Memphis to the world. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II according to Wikipedia was born Nana Barima Kwaku Duah; in May of 1950. By name, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is in direct succession to the 17th-century founder of the Ashanti Empire, Otumfuo Osei Tutu I.
