In Central and Eastern European countries, the social and institutional awareness of the problems of child sexual abuse (CSA) is beginning to emerge. Among many different actions needed, providing the victims of sexual abuse with truth and justice is profoundly important. No local Church, no matter where it is situated, is immune from the consequences of the CSA tragedy.
