Our decision to boycott 2019 election remains sacrosanct ― IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, says it will not rescind its decision to boycott the forthcoming general election, rather, it is making arrangements to change tactics to ensure that it achieves total boycott of the election in the south-east zone. In a press release by the media and publicity secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, the group said the decision of election boycott in Igboland is to showcase its readiness, determination and seriousness in the pursuit for Biafra freedom and sovereignty. IPOB said it would deploy all the machinery in its arsenal to ensure that the duo of Governors Okezie Ikpeazu and David Umahi of Abia and Ebonyi States were roundly defeated in their states because of their anti-Igbo posture. “Okezie Ikpeazu and David Umahi who unbeknown to most people have donated a portion of our sacred land of Biafra to Miyetti Allah cannot support Operation Python Dance and expect the people not to revolt accordingly. IPOB is at the front of this coming revolution next month.”
