Over 1,000 women on waiting lists for endometriosis care across five hospitalsMichael BoltonFigures from the HSE show there are 1,045 women on waiting lists for endometriosis across five hospitals in the country at the end of 2025. The hospital with the highest number of women on waiting lists for endometriosis care is the Rotunda Hospital, with 352 women on waiting lists. At Tallaght University Hospital, 342 women are on waiting lists, with 63 women waiting over a year. Cork University Hospital has 213 women on waiting lists for endometriosis, with 122 of these women waiting up to three months. At the Coombe Hospital, 102 women are on waiting lists, with 55 women waiting up to six months, and eight people on waiting lists between six and nine months.
