A public education session on tobacco use under way on Tuesday. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangementmore-inJipmer held its 69th interactive session on ‘Tobacco use and health effects prevention and management’ under a series of health education initiatives on Tuesday. According to a press note, the session attracted over 300 people, including students from several colleges, Jipmer staff, Anganwadi workers and a section of the general public. The session was moderated by Bitty Thomas, medical social worker, Medico Social Services Wing. The series of public awareness initiatives are hosted by the Jipmer Health Education For All forum.
