In Over My Dead Body we meet Dan Markel and Wendi Adelson who fell in love as young successful lawyers and got married. Dan got a job in Tallahassee, Florida and the young family moved there despite Wendi's misgivings. Then seemingly out of the blue Wendi called Dan while he was on a trip to tell him she was leaving him. We decided it would be more interesting in the beginning to be about a relationship and not immediately be about a dead body. Coming from a magazine background, Matt found the process of interviewing people for podcasts sometimes frustrating.
