Only charred debris remains after fire engulfed a house in Middle Sackville, N.S., early this morning. When firefighters arrived at 361 Springfield Lake Rd., flames were already chewing through the two-storey house. Some siding on his home melted and some water from the firefighters' hoses got into his basement and under his roof. (Paul Palmeter/CBC)Fire crews managed to keep the fire from spreading, however the house where the fire started was completely destroyed. Little remains of the two-storey house.
