Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is considered to be the overwhelming favorite to host the Super Bowl in 2029. The decision will reportedly be signed off officially at the annual NFL owners meeting, due to take place next week in Phoenix. Allegiant Stadium, which only opened in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, has already successfully welcomed one Super Bowl in its short history. It played host to the Kansas City Chiefs' thrilling 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in February 2024. That will be the second Super Bowl played at SoFi after the Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 on their own field to win the Lombardi Trophy in 2022.
