The owner of a care company with a base in Windsor has been nominated for a business award recognising its innovations in helping the elderly, writes Catherine Barker. Anitra Camargo, owner of Home Instead Windsor, Runnymede, and West Spelthorne, was nominated in the ‘community focus' category of the BFA HSBC British Franchise Awards. Her business provides an alternative for those elderly people who would prefer to live at home with loved ones instead of at a care home. This 'particularly strengthened the local community' post-pandemic in 'rebuilding the comfort and care' of the older generation. Ms Camargo said: “We don’t just aim to help our clients - it’s also about supporting families and making our community more accommodating for older people.
