The arrest came as part of Operation Holly, a crackdown on drink and drug drivers that was launched by Thames Valley Police in December 2021. The operation aims to enforce and educate drivers on the dangers of driving under the influence. Drink or drug driving can increase the chances of people being killed or seriously injured in a road collision, police said.
