Oyinlola free to join Obasanjo’s coalition —Osun


The Commissioner for Information in Osun State, Mr. Adelani Baderinwa, in an interview with our correspondent in Osogbo, stated that Oyinlola was exercising his constitutional right by joining the coalition. Baderinwa said Oyinlola, who joined the All Progressives Congress from the Peoples Democratic Party shortly before the Osun State governorship election in August 2014, was free to associate with anybody he wanted to because such right was provided for in the nation’s constitution. “He (Oyinlola) is free to associate with anybody or group he chooses. Former President Obasanjo even said in the letter that he would withdraw from the coalition the day they transform into a political party. Buhari recently appointed Oyinlola, who is also a former military administrator of Lagos State, as the chairman of the National Identity Management Commission.
