Oyo govt partners NGO to train health workers on handwashing techniques


The Oyo State government has partnered with a nongovernmental organization, La Vie Mot Global Mission, also known as Living Word Mission, to put together a two-day training for health workers Ona Ara and Ibadan South West Local Government areas of the state, major actors in the state primary health board as well as other stakeholders in health, on handwashing techniques. We want people to stay healthy; we want people to be able to contribute their quota to the development of society. “We are training health workers on simple hand washing techniques, on how to use the hand equipment that is deployed into their facilities, also training them on how to handle those machines. The content is not new and has been circulated as a broadcast message several times in the past. This development has sent shivers down the spines of West Africans who are still grappling with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
