According to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, the targets of the operation were Edmond Remegio, a model and Pedrito Coronel Jr., alias Malik, also a model-singer. Both aged 33, the two men were suspected of supplying party drugs to bar goers and celebrities at the BGC. Arrested along with Remegio and Coronel were Carlo Kasala, a 25-year-old doctor and Jose Carlo Torres, a 38-year-old engineer. All 11 men were presented to reporters on Monday night at the PDEA headquarters in Quezon City after they underwent inquest proceedings in the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office. Remegio and Coronel were charged with Section 5 (drug sale) in relation to Section 26 (conspiracy to sell), Section 11 (drug possession) and Section 12 (possession of drug paraphernalia) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
