Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), on Monday stormed the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Party holding in Abuja. Also in attendance at the NEC meeting are three former President of the Senate, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the party in the last Presidential election, Peter Obi and others. They came just as the Sokoto State governor, Tambwal was named as the new Chairman of the Party’s forum to replace the incumbent, Seriake Dickson who would be leaving office in two weeks time. Addressing the NEC in Session, Governor Tambwal assured that the governors would work closely with the leadership of the party in repositing it for the optimal performance ahead of the 2023 elections. He declared that no matter the challenges confronting the Party now, it remained the best in the country.
