Defense Sec. Delfin Lorenzana and Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi made the commitment during a video teleconference conducted on Wednesday, said Public Affairs Director Arsenio Andolong in a statement. He stressed both officials reaffirmed commitment to support the upcoming activities between "the Philippine and Japanese defense establishments." The two officials also discussed various regional security issues, including the situation in Southeast Asia, Korean Peninsula, and the West Philippine Sea (WPS), and the East China Sea (ECS).
