PESHAWAR: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Sunday brought back passengers to Peshawar but left their luggage in Saudi Arabia. According to sources, the passengers of PIA flight PK-728 were informed about the situation once they arrived in Peshawar from Riyadh. They staged a protest at the Bacha Khan Airport against the PIA staff. A PIA spokesperson said that they regretted the inconvenience due to this issue and ensured that the luggage will be delivered on next available flight to Pakistan. In 2016, a PIA flight left the luggage of passengers on board at Jeddah airport after being delayed for 10 hours.
