PKR rep hospitalised during hunger strike - Nation

PETALING JAYA: A Perak PKR assemblyman was admitted to a hospital some 10 hours after he had started his planned 48-hour hunger strike. Hutan Melintang assemblyman S. Kesavan had begun the hunger strike at 11am on Thursday outside the Election Commission headquarters in Putrajaya. At 9pm on Thursday, several of his supporters found that he was not feeling well and took him to the Putrajaya Hospital, said PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil. Before this, Kesavan went on a hunger strike at the Perak EC office after the commission failed to address several issues that he had raised with them. Fahmi urged the EC to address the issues raised by Kesavan.
