PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — As Nick Taylor’s ball hung in the air at the island green on Sunday, so did his fate at the Players Championship. On a cool, windy day at TPC Sawgrass, Taylor had moved from five- to 10-under. Going into the final round, Taylor said he had been putting too much pressure on himself on Sundays and was determined not to let it happen again. “You know, the tough conditions relaxes you a little bit knowing that it’s going to be tough for everybody,” Taylor said. A day after making just one putt over five feet, Taylor made birdie putts of nine feet, 17 feet and 30 feet.
