With temperatures rising to the low 90s, it’s the fifth day of a heat wave that is the longest of the summer so far. We should add another day to the tally tomorrow as there’s little change in the conditions causing the heat around here. With all the humidity making it feel as though we’re wading around in chicken soup, a few cooling showers and storms remain possible, but they are widely scattered at best.
