–Says no shortage of electricity in countryISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed for simplification of procedure for obtaining a no-objection certificate (NOC) and other approvals for provision of new electricity connections. On this occasion, the premier also ordered the provision of facilities to overseas Pakistanis who intend to invest in Pakistan. Separately, Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday. The construction project of 1500 houses under the Workers Welfare Fund was discussed in detail during the meeting. Appreciating the project, the Prime Minister said this is a practical reflection of the government’s commitment to providing an affordable residential scheme to the masses.
