Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas, who chairs the subcommittee, likened the current system to "blind men touching an elephant". noting that while each agency holds critical data, legal restrictions prevent them from sharing information across institutions. To resolve this, the committee will propose creating an Open API system, allowing agencies to transmit financial data digitally while retaining authority under their own legal frameworks. This would raise Thailand's overall growth above the 2% forecast by the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC).
