MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) will never support a revolutionary government amid calls from a group of supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte for its establishment. In a statement Sunday, PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac made this assurance after PNP chief Gen. Archie Gamboa confirmed that he received an invitation from the Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte – National Executive Coordinating Committee (MRRD-NECC) to attend a meeting that will push for the creation of a revolutionary government. “The PNP will never support any move to establish a revolutionary government,” he added.
