The League Management Company applied the Weight-Point-Per-Game calculation to declare Enyimba second on the domestic league log ahead of Rivers who were earlier runners-up to leaders Plateau United after PPG was used. It means Enyimba will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League while Rivers will campaign in the less -prestigious Confederation Cup.
