Independent ReportKARACHI, 30 March 2026: Former Sindh governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that Pakistan Peoples Party and Jamaat-e-Islami have “disappointed the nation,” expressing concern over worsening conditions in Karachi. He added that robbery incidents and unsafe traffic conditions have made Karachi increasingly dangerous, particularly for motorcyclists. Comparing provinces, he said Punjab is leading in development, Balochistan is improving, while Sindh remains in poor condition and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is progressing slowly. He also referred to inflation and economic difficulties, while stating that Pakistan’s overall regional position remains stable. He praised the armed forces for counter-terrorism efforts and said his party will announce its strategy for the 2027 local government elections, focusing on governance reforms and youth involvement.
