Philippine Stock ExchangeThe local bourse returned to negative territory as it opened the trading week with slight losses but still maintained its position at the 6,900 level. The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) dipped by 0.18 percent or 12.55 points to 6,937.96, while the wider All Shares gained 0.36 percent or 15.03 points to end at 4,244.61 on Monday. AAA Equities head of research Christopher Mangun said the market closed weaker on lower trading, similar to the rest of Asia. "The PSEi may continue sideways between support at 6,750 and resistance at 7,000 until the end of the week as it builds momentum for a bigger move," Mangun said. "Moreover, many are turning their attention to the release of ISM manufacturing data, unemployment rate, and trade balance among others.
