Federal Minister for information and Broadcasting Fawad Hussain on Friday said that the PTI government inherited the loss-making institutions like PIA, PTV, Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Steel Mills and RailwaysHe expressed these views in a tweet. He said that the financial loss in 2017 was Rs 45 billion while the overall loss was Rs 356 billion. He said the number of PTV employees was 10,000 and its yearly loss Rs 2.72 billion. Their salary bill was Rs 1.6 billion while around Rs 1 billion were being paid as pensions. Quoting Railways, he said 78000 people were working in Railways and its yearly loss was Rs 42 billion.
