Sindhu took an hour and 23 minutes to get over the line as won 22-20, 11-21, 21-18 and avenged her World Championships loss. The Korea Open final was a re-run of that epic battle with the only difference being the name of the champion. This was Sindhu's third Super Series title after she won the China Open in 2015 and the India Open earlier this year. Since the silver medal display at Rio Olympics, the Korea Super Series was Sindhu's fourth title.
