MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Northern Luzon are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains on Sunday brought about by a low pressure area (LPA). Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and the Ilocos provinces will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA. Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of the country in the afternoon or evening, Pagasa added. Light to moderate wind speeds from southwest to southeast with slight to moderate coastal conditions will prevail over Luzon. The Visayas and Mindanao, meanwhile, will have light to moderate winds in the southwest direction, along with slight to moderate sea conditions.
