Let’s just say 2023 was a productive year for the Painter sisters. Sisters Hayley Painter, 27, and Stephanie Painter, 29, were on a mission to sustain their family’s fourth-generation crop and dairy farm, Painterland Farm, while also educating consumers about where their food comes from. The sisters’ booming organic skyr (pronounced skeer) yogurt business caught the attention of Forbes magazine, which included the pair on its list of “30 Under 30” in December. Through the CDE network, the Painter Sisters had the opportunity to pitch to grocery store chain Giant. Regenerative Practices on the FarmAs a regenerative farm, the Painter family milks 350 crossbred cows twice a day in their double-sixteen parlor.
