Two men have been arrested over the murder of a British radio presenter who was found murdered in his home in the hills overlooking Beirut. He had been living in Lebanon since 1995 and presented the popular breakfast show on Lebanon Radio One, which is based in Beit Mery. Police said the men, both thought to be Syrian, were arrested in Bekaa valley. Reports said that they had confessed to the killing and that one was said to have known Mr Ford previously. Mr Ford’s body was found on Tuesday “covered in blood” in his bedroom in the picture-postcard village of Beit Mery, in the Metn hills.
