ISLAMABAD: Pakistan sold a total of 480 MHz of 5G telecom spectrum for $507 million on Tuesday, ‌the country's ⁠telecom ⁠authority chairman announced after a live auction.The winners include Jazz, Ufone and Zong, said Hafeez-ur-Rehman, who is also a ⁠retired Pakistani ‌military general. "Out of a total of ⁠595 MHz, God be praised, 480 MHz was sold today," he said in comments broadcast live on state-run PTV.Zong bought 110 ‌MHz of spectrum, Ufone 180 MHz and Jazz ⁠190 MHz, he said.Information Technology Minister Shiza Fatima said all major Pakistani cities will have access to 5G by the end of this year.
