Palantir’s move comes after Seattle-based tech company Splunk settled its own hiring discrimination suit in February. Trump’s original pick to head the Labor Department, fast food magnate Andrew Puzder, withdrew his name from consideration after heavy media scrutiny of his past business practices. The Labor Department retains a right to pursue Palantir for any violations of the terms of the agreement.
