Substitute Ikone stabbed home in the final 20 minutes to surprise the dominant record 16-time winners and current champions at the Parc des Princes. PSG lost their first home game in the competition since 2022 and suffered their first last-32 defeat since 2014. Since then, PSG have lifted the French Champions Trophy edging rivals Marseille on penalties in Kuwait last Thursday. Newly-promoted Paris (PFC), backed by luxury goods brand LVMH and Red Bull, are 15th in Ligue 1, two points above Nantes in the relegation play-off berth.
