Photo: PIDDHAKA, Jan 24, 2026 (BSS)- Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan today said political parties should give clear roadmap and implementation plan in their election manifestos to protect the environment. The environment adviser made the remarks while speaking at an event titled 'Road to Green Manifesto: Dialogue with Political Parties' organized by non-profit organization Brigeters at the Department of Environment (DoE) in Agargaon, Dhaka. She said about 13 percent of air pollution comes from brick kilns. In addition, road dust, open construction materials, and waste burning are the main causes of air pollution, she said.
