Caroline Gannon said that she had been asked how to transport a wanted baby’s remains from England after the termination of a non-viable pregnancy BBCA pathologist in Northern Ireland has resigned over the absence of legal abortions for fatal foetal abnormalities. Caroline Gannon, who was one of only two pediatric pathologists in the North, said that the final straw came when she had to advise a couple to use a picnic cooler bag to take their baby’s remains back home after travelling to England to terminate a non-viable pregnancy.
