MANILA, Philippines — The number of patients under investigation (PUIs) still admitted in hospitals for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) monitoring is now only at 23 as of Tuesday morning. This was significantly lower than the 43 PUIs still admitted in various health facilities nationwide as of Monday morning. ADVERTISEMENTData from the case tracker of the DOH showed a total of 613 PUIs have been discharged from hospitals after testing negative for the disease. Overall, the number of patients checked by the health department so far for the fatal disease is now at 639.
