Patriots Lose Running Back Jeremy Hill In 27-20 Win Over Texans

In the midst of the New England Patriots’ 27-20 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, Jeremy Hill was lost. Hill had led New England’s backfield with 25 rushing yards on four carries prior to the knee injury. In the Patriots’ opener versus Houston, however, Hill had two of his rushes reach that distance. Hill went on to find himself atop the Patriots’ preseason rushing ranks, before rookie quarterback Danny Etling scored an 86-yard touchdown on a naked bootleg in the exhibition finale. Michel was a limited participant in practice leading up Sunday, and officially listed as questionable on the Patriots’ final injury report.
