South CrisisLocal residents, including Muslim leaders, gathered at Khok Pho train station and recited a Muslim prayer asking for peace and expressed their opposition to violence.They carried banners that condemned the killings of innocent people and calling for peace.The event was organised prior to the train trial run on the Hat Yai-Sungai Kolok route. The train service was suspended to repair damage to railway tracks caused by a bomb blast last Saturday .The bomb exploded on the tracks in Khok Pho and led to the derailment of a train, severely damaging its rear carriage. One railway official was killed and three others wounded.Train services on the route are expected to resume on Monday.
