Paul Mescal joined Hamnet co-stars Jessie Buckley and Jacobi Jupe as they sat together at the Actor Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. The 30-year-old, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as William Shakespeare, cut a dapper figure in a a black suit which he layered over a silk shirt and necktie. She exuded elegance in a black and white Balenciaga gown, while 12-year-old Jacobi, who plays their onscreen son Hamnet, opted for a sparkly gold blazer. As well as both top acting gongs the movie is also nominated for the coveted Cast In A Motion Picture Award. On the film side, One Battle After Another leads the pack with seven nominations, followed closely by Sinners with five.
