Phil Nagle was sexually abused by his teacher, Brother Stephen Farrell, at St. Alipius Boys' School in Ballarat in the early 1970s when he was just 9 years old. St. Alipius Parish School in Ballarat, Victoria, which is working hard to provide support to the survivors of the Catholic sex abuse scandal. St. Alipius Boys' School closed in 1976, and the boys moved down the road to the girls' school which is now a co-ed primary that operates under the stewardship of principal Eileen Rice.
